Now and then I've read that there is a fix for GPS however I didn't pursue it because I didn't know I had a problem! Well i discoverd yesterday that i do! It shows my current location several blocks from where i actually am.

After trying to search the forum I come up empty for this fix. Can anyone shed some much needed ligt on the subject? I use my Maps app a lot for business and would like to be able to see the REAL current location in contrast to the destination! Thanks. :)

    EDIT: CM7 ROM

If you are on aosp, then you will need the updated qualcomm drivers. I don't have the link right now (not at home) but if you check out some of Mizzou's recent posts I'm sure you'll see a link he posted to it (from dropbox I believe ;)).

Yeah, that'll be the updated driver. It'll fix it right up for you, and you'll get gps locks in no time! I'll look around for the link real quick...

Is it a good idea or not to do a backup (nandroid) prior to flashing the GPS fix zip file?
