Simple question - how is the typing?

I'm on Sprint - thanks to them not allowing me an early upgrade - I'll be waiting for the EPIC 4G.

Wife on VZW with an available upgrade - really likes a physical KB = she's considering the DX - or will wait for the D2.

Probably won't be able to get to a VZW store till the weekend anyway - which may make this a moot point.

    TIA

i have been on a physical keyboard since the keyocera wildcard on Virgin Mobile about 4 years or so ago.. i am a bigger guy with some thick fat-guy fingers and i find typing a pleasure on most physical keyboards. most of them are tactile enough tho some of the layouts are a bit silly if you ask me.

now i know someone will start talking up Swype. and I AGREE swype is the only think that would make me even THINK about going all touch but even with that, yuo have to train it to how you speak and swype. it basically has to learn (via repitition and asking and programming words into it)

sometimes it is nice to just be able to whip oipen your keyboard and just type out a quick messege. i would never wqant to use a virtual keyboard to do something liek type an email.
