Hello, I've recently acquired Final Fantasy VI (android version) for my tablet (Lenovo Ideapad a1107) and while the game runs there are some issues. The game runs rather slow, the text appears in chunks of words each sec rather than a fluid text, character and effects movement is rather ******ed and not fluid either. Sounds and Music play fine though.

Any idea how to fix this? I've checked and it seems I'm not the only one with this problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    welcome to Android Forums.

I moved your thread to the forum where tablets are discussed that don't have a dedicated forum.

I suggest that you clear the data partition where temporary data is stored. This can become contaminated and fragmented over time and when you run a data intensive app the app slows down waiting for adjustments.

May I ask, how this is done? Because I do sorta know how to check data storage, but I wouldn't know how to handly temporary data.

    Thanks in advance.

Followed the instructions, but it seems I had little success, the game is still slow D:

    Any other ideas?

Sounds like compatibility issues, which is something the devs would have to fix. However this quite a basic low-specced Chinese tablet, 1GHz CPU, 512MB RAM, and not really intended for gaming. So quite possibly a game like FF4 just won't work properly on it anyway, given that it's running slow. Casual games like Angry Birds are likely to be fine however.

Well I did check google playstore it says ideapad a1 won't work but that a1107 is compatible (though maybe it means it can be played but not really on the greatest of speeds).

I can play FFV and Dimensions normally though, (only on the final battle that had greater graphics it was a bit slowed down).

Is there any modding or change of pieces that could be done to improve performance?
