    my wife has an LG Ally, if i remove the battery and plug it into the wall charger will it power on and work? or does the battery need to be in the phone?:thinking:

    why don't you just try it. my wife has a lg shine plus and it works plugged in without the battery

    Yeah. It has to be in. if it isnt, it just shuts off and the led blinks Blue. Not sure why. I just know it does

    It really depends on how the device is designed. Most seem to run off the battery whether connected to a charging source or not.
