Root A MIUI Problem?

Not sure if it is or just an issue in general?

Just installed MIUI on the phone, using Titanium to reinstall apps/data and it has told me I am low on space.

I installed the A2SD version of the ROM but the don't appear to be going to the SD, I have checked and my A2SD partition is still empty

Tried a reboot and still nothing.

How best to sort this out

Should I be setting the preferences on TB to install to SD?

You need to activate the apps2sd via terminal emulator - all the commands and procedure are in XJ's thread, 3rd post down on the 1st page...

su
a2sd zipalign

then

su
a2sd cachesd

(phone will probably reboot between those commands, remember the su before you enter each one)

... should see you right.

If not, try a2sd reinstall - but only if the above commands don't work. ;)

Tried the 1st 2, didn't work. Tried the a2sd reinstall, it worked, but when I went to restore more apps I got the same issue, followed by force closes galore.

:(

Sure I could try a wipe and fresh install but really can't be arsed with the effort tonight, just going to install my backup of Redux.

Might go back to it tomorrow.

i have tried miui too and had the same problem like you
so i found that the only solution would be to install the d2ext x-part version and make minimum 1gb ext partition and i think you won't have this problem
