Always hot?
Is it always plugged in? The charger will generate heat. So will data usage and talk. If it is always hot without being plugged in, it is doing something, and I bet your battery dies very quickly.
If so, you need to download the Task Manager app and kill all processes. You may not even realize what apps you have that are often going live to pull in data whether you want them to or not.
