sometimes when I call out and the person on the other end answers, my phone vibrates for a split second. it doesn't do it all the time but I do notice it. has anyone experienced this?

Yep mine does it - get a little split second vibrate and buzz. Not sure why.

Mine does. I quite like it, especially when calling automated lines.

I think it only does it if the phone thinks you aren't holding it to your ear.

Kinda of a "HEY! WAKE UP, the person you've just called has answered"

Just to clarify, by inappropriate noises, I meant laughing. That is all. :)

Have I got it wrong? I thought it meant that the person you're calling is excited to hear from you. I did wonder why my bank and the Inland Revenue were so easily pleased.

A quick search suggests probably not. Can't find it on my phone, and I've seen mods on xda for other phones so I'd say it's not possible without rooting, and depends if there's a mod available if you are rooted.

Yep, I have tried this a few times and it only vibrates when your not holding the phone to your ear. I would imagine that if you are one of the unlucky people that don't have a working proximity sensor or having trouble with the proximity sensor then it would vibrate every time.

on CM7 there's options to turn on the vibrate when a call connects and a call disconnects :) thought i'd add to this!
