I use only one screen (instead of the six or seven I can use). Whenever I swipe my finger across the screen either left or right the widgets and icons move back and forth, as if I'm scrolling to another screen, rather than stay stationary. I just want everything to stay still.

I have looked in the settings for CyanongenMod and ADW EX and I can't seem to find an option to have my default screen stay stationary. I remember that Launcher Pro had some settings buried to keep the screen stationary, but I like ADW EX and I don't want to switch back to Launcher Pro. I have also tried using lock desktop in the settings and it doesn't work for what I am trying to achieve. If it helps, I am using Jerryscript's BACKside rom.

    Any help will be appreciated.

If your trying to keep the wall from scrolling you just deselect it under screen settings.

Deselect what exactly? There isn't anything there to keep the screen from moving around. This isn't about the wallpaper. That is configured already to stay still. This is about the rest of the screen. It moves around when I swipe my finger across the screen. This is very hard to explain without actually showing you what I mean.

Press your menu_key then choose the edit option. This brings your to a screen showing all your current home screens. Click the red x under the screens you don't use or want.

I did that. Still slides around as though I'm going to another screen.

just out of curiosity... were you trying to sound like a dick?

but yeah that is the correct way to get just ONE screen in ADW that doesn't move... i use ADW just for a minimalist single screen layout

no lol i shoulda added faces(i was at first, but go to lazy lol) to make it seem more friendly lol xD
sorry if i came off kinda dick-ish lol
and at that point i JUST woke up so i was kinda like "gotta do my first good deed of the day quick to start it off right"
again, sorry that it might have seemed that way for some of you. (one reason i hate typing just plain txt, instead of adding a thousand smiley faces and "lol's" like i always(usually on facebook and in texts) do :p but when im on a forum such as this, i try not to seem like a 16 year old girl. (imma 18 yr old guy.....) im just gonna adding to this post now lol)

Well, it was a little abrupt, but I understand. You did do me a huge favor by figuring that out. Thanks again!

Aha, no problem. I'll be careful with my wording next time.
