I've owned a number of phones and I think the metroPCS/T-Mobile version of the LG G Stylo is an unbelievable value. For under $150 you can buy a phone that has features not found on many flagship phones, features such as expandable memory via a microSD card, a removable battery, and NFC. It is 4G LTE enabled, has a 5.7” HD IPS display, a 13MP Laser Autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It uses a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor and has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and it supports calling over wi-fi. The phone has a built-in stylus, like the Samsung Note phones. It doesn’t include Samsung’s stylus software, but the stylus is perfect for making quick notes. I like the phone’s user interface and the ways in which it can be customized.

I'm probably being foolish but I'm moving on to an expensive flagship phone. I was enticed to pre-order an HTC 10 by the offer of $100 off and no interest financing . I love the HTC 10 but it's in a whole different class and much more expensive than the LG G Stylo. The metroPCS/T-Mobile version of the LG G Stylo is a very good phone at a bargain basement price.

The stlyo is a great device and I wouldn't blame you for uprading to the sexy HTC 10 but if I was you I would wait for the new Nexus devices from HTC this year

The new Nexus devices will probably be an improvement but, at my age, if I waited for the next great thing it could be too late. I'm happy with the HTC 10.

    By far, the best description.

BTW, G4 batteries work in the Stylo!

    Hell
    Yeah, pretty much.

I'd love to get my hands on the LG G5 myself.

Don't think it will fit because the battery door isn't quite the same size as the Stylo.

I got the boost version battery in my metrophone and i don"t have a complaint at all. It gets charged every other night and is very good like that.

I disagree with your post. The lg g stylo does not have all these features most flagships dont. Its not a bad device at all but its definitely midrange. I cant think of a single flagship device it can beat.

It's a reasonable phone, its specs are similar to many Chinese mid-range devices, i.e. quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 5.7in screen but only 720x1280, etc. It does have NFC though, which many phones in this class don't have.
