I use audiogalaxy as a music player, and it's inconveniant after using the cell phone for other reasons to go back to the program, have to re-load it, and then find that the playlist I was in has been cleared.

Any way/app to prevent certain programs from closing... perhaps upgrading them to "service" status?

  2. Are you using a task killer? If not, apps like that should just remain paused in the background.

nope. I'm using juice defender, and I actually assigned audiogalaxy as "process" in its app manager (although I think that only has to do with connections, not opening or closing anything), and it will still behave this way.

I'll use audiogalaxy for a bit in the morning. Go to work, use my phone every now and then for texting, calls, internet, etc. Go back to my car, and audiogalaxy will have to start up again, no longer resuming where it was in playback.
