abilities required for android freelance programmers

    It is great to belong..to android family. Would some one elucidate the abilities an android programmer needs to develop to be really useful to the market place.

    I'm sure there's many things that would be helpful. Here's a few I can think of:

    1. Have a great app idea (that's a biggie!)
    2. Know / learn Java and how to use the Android SDK, the Eclipse IDE, etc.
    3. Create a solid, bug-free, well thought-out app (don't make your new users debug the app for you--you'll get low ratings and that will be hard to overcome)
    4. Provide great support and documentation (be responsive to people's support questions)
