Root Access Point is not showing on the computer.

    Hello All,

    I am unable to connect to my Droid. When I start the tether, I don't receive any errors (although I haven't checked the log), but when I look for the Droids access point, it

    And when you start the wifi tether app does it have any pop up error's? Try rebooting your Droid and checking your pc again for the access point.

    On the log i receive an error:

    Loading tiwlan_drv.ko module
    Failed.

    Any Ideas

    Your wifi driver and kernel may not support tethering.

    Easy way to fix this is to flash a new kernel from Chevyno1 or Adamz...go to their forums on Alldroid and download and install (following their directions) a kernel...their install packages/instructions will get you a new boot.img and wifi driver that support tethering.

    when flashing a kernel do i use adb and reboot recovery?
