    Hi,

Is there a way to talk to a Java smart card from Android?
In details this is what I want to do:
Let's say that on my Android phone's SIM card I have a digital certificate issued. The card supports PKI, i.e. it can sign hashes with a private key.
    My idea is this:
    1. I have a document in the phone that I have to send digitally signed
    2. I run some application (probably written by me) to generate a hash on the document
    3. I send the hash to the smart card and get it back encrypted
    4. I get from the card the digital certificate, too
    5. I attach the signature to the document, attach the digital certificate and I send the document over

Is there some sort of API that I can use to talk to the smart card from Android so I can do these things (3 and 4) ?
