I found a new way to connect my Win7 PC to my Droid X to use the DX browser on my data plan. To my limited knowledge, this is not tethering. You are using your DX to access the web and mirroring it on your PC. It's called MyMobiler for Android and it is available at MyMobiler | Remote Display & Input It's free. You have to be rooted. I've only been playing around with it for the past day or so. There are keyboard equivalents for the DX hard buttons (Back = escape key, Home = F1, etc.). To navigate on the DX screen you can use the mouse, the keyboard 4-way arrows, page up/down, or the scroll-wheel on a mouse. Currently I haven't been able to get the screen to go into landscape, but this is still a beta.
