I just got my Bionic the other day. So far i haven't bought any accessories.

I'm thinking about getting the extended battery. I also would like some sort of case for it, maybe an HDMI cable to connect to the TV.

Anything else you guys would recommend that would be a must have? Verizon's website doesn't have much and i really don't know the good brands or where to purchase accessories from 3rd parties. Give me a few ideas...........

VZW has a shell / holster combo that is built to automatically fit the extended battery, plus has a slide out kickstand in the back of it too. At VZW it comes with the car charger for $50.

I got the phone at Costco for $20 cheaper than VZW's $299 phone only price, and I got free the Car Dock, HDMI dock, car charger, (cheap) leather case, and spare battery and battery charger. HDMI cable is a must, and I'll be getting one from monoprice.com b/c they have really good quality cables at dirt cheap prices....

Car dock - if you're going to use nav a lot - charging cable slides into back, and phone slides into charging port. HDMI dock - well, if you want to use it.

I'll probably be picking up that extended battery/cover from VZW, a kickstand would be nice.

As far as the HDMI cable, how do i know which one will fit the Bionic?

For only $3.43 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 6inch 34AWG High Speed w/ Ethernet Micro-HDMI Male (Type D) to HDMI Female (Type A) Adapter Cable - Black | HDMI Port Saver

I can 100% guarantee this works because I have one and have used it to hook my Bionic to my TV. Just make sure you also have a sufficiently long enough HDMI cable to go from the 6" adapter to your TV. It transmits both Video and Audio through the connector.

I tried using just a small adapter withough the cable and broke it in the first 5 minutes on my Xoom.

This allows the adapter to flex some if you have a stiff HDMI cable.

For Pictures of the extended Battery or the Shell case with the Kickstand see my post at the following link:

Nice. Just bought the Adapter. So all i need now is a regular HDMI cable to hook up to the TV right?

Yep. I bought a 15 ft HDMI cable form Monoprice so I could plug my Phone/Tablet into the TV from my bed and watch movies without having to get up. Yes, I am that lazy.

    Here's the cable I bought.

For only $5.51 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 15ft 28AWG Standard Speed HDMI Cable w/Ferrite Cores - Black | 28AWG HDMI Male to Male Cables

If you were to buy the same thing from <Insert Electronics Store Name> You would easily pay 20-30 bucks for it. It's only $ 6.46 from Monoprice.

    Yes

    Double Yes

    EDIT:

Just wanted to Add, That adapter also leaves enough room to plug in the USB cable so you can charge and Mirror the display at the same time.

Now all we need is a way to trick the phone and enable WebTop and it would make their $30 adapter useless.
