The end call button gets hit by my cheek and drops calls, anyone else having this problem?

Is there a way to lock the screen or an App to lock the screen during calls?

The screen should auto-shutoff with the proximity sensor...are you using a task manager that is maybe turning this service off? I would try pulling the battery out for a couple minutes and see if that helps.

pulled battery. seems to be working now. when phone is next to face, i cant press the end call button with my finger, screen goes black in like 5-10 seconds. then when i pull the phone away, it lights up.

have you noticed if you put the phone to your ear during homescreen, it vibrates briefly? and goes back to main home screen? whats that about?

Strangely I have never had my phone go blank during a call and have looked for this setting. Never found it so assumed it was not there. Can you tell us the name of the android application that controls this so we can add it to any ignore lists if task killers are being used
