Help Accidentally flashed TWRP to boot instead of recovery, stuck in bootloop

Hi,

I am trying to install Lineage OS and was following this guide to the T. However, when I tried to flash the twrp image I used "fastboot flash boot twrp-3.0.2-0-m8.img" and it succeeded and now i can boot to anything. I can get to the boot loader but if i select reboot, recovery, reset factory default or any other it just sends me to the bootloop. The top of my bootloader reads:

Thanks to anyone who can help, I've tried to many things but with no results and i can't find anyone with a similar situation to myself. If the answer is obvious or I haven't been looking enough please let me know.

I have installed: abd, fastboot, Android SDK, Java, HTC Sync

You might need to flash a costom ROM through micro SD card.

You need to get it into fastboot mode. Then you can flash your recovery correctly, and if you can do that then you should be able to flash a ROM (which will include a kernel).

Sorry I didn't see the question a couple of months ago, so by now I assume this is too late, but may help someone else with a similar problem.
