acer iconia a500 can't read external sd card

I have an Acer iconia a500 I love this thing,but it won't read the external SD card.
Any body out there have a solution for this problem.I have astro file manager and it said is there ,but I can't access it or copy something to it.

Your best avenue for support for you Iconia a500 would be to click into it's area of discussion. You might find an existing conversation about the SD card or you are certainly welcome to ask if other have experienced your problem or have a suggestion as to a fix.
