If you order online from Best Buy, do they ship activated phone? I have two lines. I am eligible for upgrade on one line but would like to use EVO on my second line. Will it work if ordered online from Best Buy?

The Phone is pre-programmed (linked to you in the Sprint system). Usually all you should have to do is the ESN swap online, turn the phone on, and Voila, it provisions itself.

I got mine from sprint.com and it didn't let me do the esn swap online. I had to call and have a rep activate it.

That's right. The ESN swap doesn't accomodate Evo activations yet due to the $10 Premium Data Fee

Yeah I did this after ordering from Sprint online. You have to call in but it is easy. Sprint ships the phone not activated but they still have to get the 10.00 on your account. I am not sure about Best Buy online though.
