Help Active Notifications - Pick One to Open to?

My Moto X is growing on me - quite capable, good battery life- I am generally happy. The active notifications are slick but - is it possible when there are multiple active notifications on screen to select the one I want to pop into the app?

Say I have an email and an Instagram notification on screen. The email is the active one(circled) but heck I don't need to check my damn work email right now- I want to see who just liked my instagram - anyway to switch over so when I unlock via the active notifications I go to Instagram?

Not yet but I suspect it's coming. It's been asked for a LOT over on the G+ communities and they are listening.
