Using Windows 7, I installed the Android SDK but due to a pending Windows update it locked up during the AVD definition process. Long story short, now whenever I run the ADB Devices command I have an extra emulator sitting out there that I can not get rid of. It's not tied to anything in the SDK Manager and the status of the emulator is always offline. I've removed all of the SDK files from the SDK directory and the files from C:\users\<user>\.android and started over from scratch but that extra emulator is still there. If I just plow forward and create a new emulator using the SDK I will end up with two emulators when I issue the ADB Devices command. So where is the SDK storing the list of devices? I need to get rid of it. Thanks!
