I'm currently following the idiot proof guide to get the nand unlock, or whatever it is. step 2 basically.

and i'm on step 50 of the guide where i am suppose to type "adb reboot recovery" in the command field. (i already pressed shift on the android-sdk-windows" folder to open the command prompt) when i do the command i get this error message:

"'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"

    any ideas anyone?

    update:

i went into my android-sdk-windows/tools folder and did the adb reboot recovery command, and it seemed to work. my android phone rebooted, and got the exclamation mark screen, before i proceed i want to make sure everything is a-okay if i was able to do it this way.
