"adb shell" and garbled text

    Hi!
    Every time i try to access adb shell on my galaxo 1.6.3.2 i get the strange garbled text:

    I typed adb shell, and then run ls command. Can anybody reproduce the problem?

    its because you are running galax0. its a custom shell with colours.
    it will look a mess if you use cmd but if you use a a linux terminal or use droidexplorer this info is displayed correctly.
    also if you use a terminal emulator on the device its displayed correctly
