I'm trying to remove some bloatware and when i try to connect to adb shell after mounting /system, adb gives me and error saying "error: device not found"

    Script Ran:

    cd\sdk\tools

    then,

    adb shell

    then

    error:device not found

How do I go about fixing this? I have installed the USB drivers, do I need new drivers now that I am running 2.2?

Try the modified driver in the Unrevoked3 bundle. Once unpackaged, follow the provided internet link to download/install. You don't have to use Unrevoked3 for root purposes if that's not your intent.
