I'm trying to add a new Gmail account I set up to my phone. I've got the account created and have verified I can log in from my browser, but when I try to add the account to my phone I keep getting the message that it can't establish a reliable data connection to the server.
I'm connected via wi-fi. Any idea whats going on here? From the searching I've done the thing that keeps coming up is to do a factory reset. That seems a bit extreme.

I did some more searching and found a solution. I was able to create my new gmail account in YouTube, then log into it from the YouTube ap on the phone. This created the account in the "Accounts and Sync" section for me. Kind of a roundabout way to go about it, but it beats a factory reset!
