Help Adding a playlist to the Home Screen?

Hello!

As a new HTC Desire HD user, I'm still finding my way around the phone. I have just mastered setting up a playlist (Go me!) but is there any way I can select the playlist directly from the Home Screen rather than go via Music (insert lazy cow icon)

I can add apps and widgets, but don't know how to add a playlist

I've not tried it, but how about:
Personalize -> Add items to home -> Shortcut -> Music playlist
