Adding / Texting number from call history

I'll get a call from a number I don't have and want to add it to my contacts. I might also want to send it a text message. Is this possible? Right now it seems like I have to look at my call history and write down the number then type it into a new contact or text. That's stupid.

Long press the number. The context menu allows for both.
