okie dokie....I cannot seem to find an answer to this although I seem to recall that when I first got the phone that I did it once for one word.

When in Android Keyboard input, if you type in a word that is not in the dictionary, is there a way to save it so that it comes up again in the future and you don't have to type the whole word out each time you use it? It appears that this is the case in swype (which I do not care for) but after a lot of trial and error, I cannot seem to locate a place where you can do this.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Don't think it's keyboard-specific, but it does work:

Go to your main device settings > Language and keyboard > User dictionary > Menu > Add.

You can also tap out the word, then press and hold on it along the suggested words list until it pops up with "Added" or some such.

  4. Welcome to the Fascinate forums, lala, and especially to Android Forums.

It looks like your question has been answered already, but I moved the thread to the generic Fascinate area and out of the All Things Root threads for you anyway.. maybe some more suggestions will come up here. ;)
