I have to press hard and sometime couple times for those 4 bottons to respond. Is there a way to adjust them?

This was one of the contributing reasons as to why I returned my Captivate.

Sounds like it may be certain phones. My buttons are very responsive, at least so far they have been.

Are you hitting the buttons dead on? If not, I would exchange the device if you have the time.

Normally, the touch buttons are very responsive.
