[Android Question]

My company is looking at deploying some rugged smart phones (probably Casio Gzone Commando verizon) for a particular app to fill out tickets as well as collect payments to eliminate paper tickets. Is there a way to block the download of new apps but still allow current apps to be updated at the same time?

Hi

There are apps such as applock by domobile which can lock the phone down with a password to prevent any changes by the user. Existing apps could be updated by use of the password and then be relocked. Could the updates be done periodically by a supervisor so the users don't have the password?
