Support adobe flash player for version 2.1

    i have upgraded my galaxy portal to version 2.1 and i want to download adobe flash player but apparently adobe 10.1 will only work on version 2.2 of android.is there any way round this or if not is there another version of adobe i can download or another flash player i can use,greesy:)

    if you root your phone - see beerkan's guide here http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-lite/124313-root-guide.html. once you have leshak's kernel installed and root access, you can then install it with a samdroid kitchen to include the flash player (as well as live wallpapers, multitouch etc).

    go to samdroid.net, look for the kitchen thread. "cook" a kitchen (ie select the elements you to want to include), download it, put it on your SD card, boot to recovery, choose "apply any zip from SD". make sure you choose a launcher! then choose the kitchen zip you have downloaded, run it. then make sure you wipe cache and dalvik/cache before rebooting your phone.

    in my experience, flash is ok but not great and tends to crash if you don't have lots of memory free. hope this helps man!
