I know, I know, Flash on Android is dead.

But my kid loves an app called Zoodles that has a bunch of vidoes and flash games. On Android 4.2 the app worked perfectly. But after upgrading to 4.3, the videos play fine but the games all crash after a few seconds of loading.

I've installed a few different versions from here:

    Archived Flash Player versions

But none seem to work. Does anyone have a working apk for 4.3? This is for the original 16gb N7 btw.

    Thanks!

You do realise that Chrome doesn't support Flash anyway? I haven't tried it on 4.3 but the most recent Flash (for Android) works fine on earlier Android versions - as long as you use a Flash-capable browser of course.

    This isn't a browser issue.

Zoodles is like a kid-friendly launcher. It locks down the device so they can only launch the apps I choose and has an easy to use interface. But it also contains some flash games that lock up if I try to run them on 4.3.

Right. But don't necessarily blame Flash, it could be the app that's using Flash that is incompatible not Flash itself.

I'd try Flash in a working browser to assess its (in)stability on 4.3 before condemning it, although you can't really win as there is no alternative currently available and Flash will never be updated if it no longer works.

Yeah, good point. I probably should test it in a browser.

For now I'm just going to go back to 4.2 I think.

I haven't had any Flash issues in supporting browsers under 4.3 - sounds more like an app issue.

Thanks for the responses. It does sound like an issue with the app. I've contacted their support and they're working on removing the flash content from it.
