when i installed froyo on my n1 i went to adobe.com and clicked on a flash player 10.1 link that took me to the app in the market. i'm not sure but it may not even show up in the market unless you're running 2.2

Either wait for an official release, or ROOT it, I've never used a moto droid, so that link would be a good place to start

They won't release it for 2.1 but some guy on xda is working on it. Some luck but ways to go- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6569529&posted=1#post6569529
