Once a day on average I get a + on my notification bar and when I click on it is nothing more then Ads which once I click on them they take me to a website stating that I'm the *** visitor and won an IPAD or something else.

Does anyone know which software is known for those unwanted adds so I can remove them.

    Thanks,

a lot of "Free" software will do that. You need to start pulling the crap you installed on your phone. Remember the first few days when you installed everything you could find? It's one of those...

This article mentions two common services that apps can use to do this and how to op out. Unfortunately not all apps use these services and it can sometime be tricky to figure out which app is using the service:

Find and Opt Out of Ads in Your Android Notification Bar

If the app does use one of these two service; then the arrticle describes how to opt out.

It seems flashlight HD was the culprit. I had it installed since November but only recently they add those popup ads from what I've read.
