    Hi kids.

Been using GB for a few months now, and an very happy with it.

    However....

I LOVE the stock Miui launcher, and have tried it. There are just a few things I can't get my head around.

How the hell do you access the apps? Also is there a way of removing the random icons you have on the stock launcher? I've tried deleting them, but it says that you can't delete the apps. I don't want to delete the apps, just the icons.

I'm really tempted to go with Miui, and use its launcher, but theses basic things are baffling me.

    Thanks in advance.

    Andy.

    There is no app drawer.
    Those icons are the apps.
I love miui, just not the launcher, so I use GoLauncher on top.

Loving MIUI myself for the past week, having ran with Gingervillain for a couple of months I changed to MIUI after GV 2.8 had issues for me - was due a change.

The icons are indeed the apps, I just organised them into folders on my homescreen such as: System Tools, My Tools, Music, Games. Suits me, I have 8 of these taking up top half of screen and the 3D weather widget on bottom half - tis a nice change and the ROM itself is great :)

How many screens can you have with Miui? I use 11 with my Go Launcher.

As far as I am aware you can have as many screens as you like - but as you can folder apps then you shouldn't need loads, unless you are using loads of widgets.

I currently have four screens with most apps organised into folders and a couple of widgets running.

The whole idea of using folders to organise each app into categories seems like a very nice idea, think I'll give this a go at some point

The folder idea works with non-Miui ROMs as well. With Launcher Pro or Go Launcher you can put Folder Organiser folder links in the dock as well (and between rotating docks and swipe actions there are up to 30 slots available, should you need that many!).

I loved using MIUI, it took a lil bit for me to get used to now app drawer and a more basic 'iPhone' like approach again...which was only baffling at times to me as the iPhone has ONE single physical button to just get you to 'home screen' and you don't have a physical 'menu' key as such...so having say a 'settings' icon AND the option for settings under a physical button just seemed counter intuitive to me...but thats just me lol

but yea, I found it really nice...very fast...stable and lovely to look at and use...just didn't like the new browser they use now..
