    Hi,
I just got my Galaxy S a couple of days ago and still kind of lost, so am a newbie at this.
I have froyo 2.2.1 on my device, and was wondering if I should install Gingerbread 2.3? Is it stable? and does it support Arabic language??

    PDA is: I9000JPJPM
    Phone: Unknown
    CSC: I9000JPJPL

Please note that I connected my phone through Kies and it didn't identify the firmware or state that there is an update available for my phone

Also, my device goes mute all of a sudden on its own (without the silent indicator turning on) and I can't hear any of the notifications. How can I solve this?? Also, the wifi gives errors sometimes.

It doesn't seem like a very stable OS!

Thanks in advance for your assistance!!:)
