Probable a stupid easy step i'm missing here folks, but here it goes.

I'm running Bamf Stripped 1.1 and Widget locker. Yesterday I bought Adw Launcher Ex but didn't want to make it my default launcher until I had it all set up properly. Problem with not choosing a laucher by default is that every time you unlock your screen with widget locker, it asks which launcher you want to run. So I got tired of it asking and hit the checkmark for the Rosie to be default.

Today I set up my ADW to the way I want it, but cannot get it to stick. I know there is an option somewhere to make it my default laucher but can't find it anywhere.

Can someone please point me into the right direction to make ADW default now. Thanks.

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications. Go to the "Running" tab and scroll down to find HTC Sense, it has the weather/clock and the dockbar as its icon. Tap it and scroll down to about the middle of that page. There is a button labeled "Clear defaults". Tap that button and exit Settings. Now you should get a popup asking which home app you want to use when you press the home button.

By the way, the home app is just an app, like all the other apps. It just happens to have a dedicated button (Home) for it. That's why the unlock screen kept asking you which you wanted to use.

You're welcome. Just so you know, almost all apps have a "Clear defaults" button. This helps you switch default apps for things other than the home screen app.
