Assuming you are going further down the hall...
after the turn the hall extends about 40 more feet and there are 4 doors. 3 at the end of the hall one on the left, one on the right, and one at the end of the hall. There is another door about 10 feet down the hall on the left.
Divination Skill on all four doors ...
small room on the closest door, no creatures inside. End of the hallway door on the left leads to another hallway it appears to have something(s) inside. Door straight ahead larger room with something(s) inside likely ulfraps. End of hallway door on the right room about the same size as the one straight ahead with something(s) inside likely ulfraps. The something(s) in the larger 2 rooms appear to be aware of your party.

The unoccupied room is closer than the rest if that makes a difference

you don't have to delete posts. I can understand your thoughts in taking out the immediate threat as the ulfraps could come out and corner you in the smaller room...but then again they may not...T'res just knows they are aware of you guys not if they are intelligent enough to plan and ambush...it is up to you guys I know what is going to happen from the NPC standpoint...[evil]
Following T'Res into the smaller room, I ask, "So, what do you think is behind the other doors, and what do you think we'll find in these ruins?"
Realizing that I'm not aware of an objective for the ruins...
I am not sure of the objective myself...got a few more encounters planned out and I don't think you guys have gone into the room yet...if so...[evil]
Uses Spot skill in small room
There is a silver chest in the small root it is pretty obvious it is there no need for a skill check
After checking your roll you are sure there is a silver chest in the small room

Its locked if you check there is a small key slot
Rewards thus far
Giving out PP, someone please take a detect traps skill (Willpower or Intelligence based) and disable (Agility based) traps ( they are non magical and I am tired of blowing you up
Having traps without anyone who can defend against them is no fun...

It opens...inside there is a pair of boots, 2 rings, a vial of white fluid, and a necklace...it is all magical
each will require a separate check to see if you can tell what they are magical for if you fail the check you can't try again
