    Hi all,

Just joined my first post purchased my droid razr sim free unlocked 3 days ago... Today when i arrived home and was putting my jacket on while getting out of car the phone slipped out of it as i pulled the jacket out from the back seats...

Slipped out and down from around half a meter to gravel ... On first inspection looked like nothing happened but when i came home i discovered this nasty chip / dent on the bottom, see pics...:mad:

That sucks but as you said it could have been worse and impacted the screen or functionality of the phone. Your case may hide it entirely. It now has it's own character distinguishing it from all of the other thousands of RAZR's in the world.

    Ouch!
I always go overkill trying to protect my phones.
Once I get the initial scratch/nick/dent/drop over with,I find the sting doesn't hurt as much.
Sorry to hear about your accident, & I'm glad it still functions properly.
Like the poster above said, you personally "branded" you razr. ;)
Luckily Motorola makes their devices tough.

That's right, think of it as 'character'. Now you'll always know your Razr from any other Razr.

Don't let it bother you to much. When you put your case on you should not have to see it anymore. :)

U gents are right as always...

Im reading of cracked screens dropped from balcony and razers in water... and here is me moaning on a chip of on the side of the plastic.

Still we love our devices and I guess this kinda things hit people differently. I must admit that the fact it i only had it for 3 days and managed to mock it up pissed me the most... i have a year + old iphone 4 that serves now as my second device and that one is spotless...

Se la vi... could of been much worse, ill go now back to enjoying the device.

    Cheers Laz

My wife dropped my Galaxy Tab 10.1 from sitting on the bed to the wood floor (appr. 3feet/1meter) and it completely shattered the screen. After owning it for only 1 month, I still can't forgive her. I have insurance and 3 different cases on the way for my Nexus. I'm not taking any chances anymore.

Sorry to hear of your unfortunate injury! :(

Look on the bright side... it could have been much, much worse! ;)
