I recently purchased the Aigopad M80 while in Bangkok and it seems that the device is quite unstable to the point of being almost unusable.

The tablet seemed to work fine for the first hour or so, but now I am faced with constant crashing of apps of every type as well as random reboots of the device. I have tried restoring the device to factory seetings to no avail, and I have also tried contacting Aigo's customer support but so far I have not gotten a response.

When crashing the tablet seems to first slow to a crawl and then reboot. For example, last night I was watching youtube videos using the youtube app when the screen became non responsive to touch. The video kept playing and the audio cut out about 30 sec later. After that the video froze as well and shortly after that the device rebooted completely.

Has anyone else had similar issues with the tablet that can offer some advice?

I had similar problems a couple of days after I bought mine, where it would constantly crash and I literally thought I'd killed it.

In the end, after leaving it (switched off) overnight, and doing several hard reset, it all came good and started working properly again. It almost seemed like it had an overheating issue with being on constantly, or possibly an issue with the number of things I'd queued up for downloading in the background. (I'd been using it while connected to the USB so it was always charging, and as it was new, even when I wasn't actively using it, it was downloading lots of stuff in the background over my painfully slow Thai internet connection.)

Since then, it's been fine. Great for watching videos streamed over uPnP from my network, until today actually where it's started playing movies too fast. (i.e. similar to watching movies on x4 fast forward).
