Ever since getting the new Jelly Bean update my alarm is not as it once was.

My alarm does go off at the time I set it but it literally goes off for a second then stops. I've tried everything and dunno whether I'm just being dippy.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have voice activated with the alarm? Saying stop will stop it and saying snooze will snooze it. Perhaps some random noise it is hearing is activating it.
Good Luck!

Do you use the snooze button? If so would you like to be able to tap the screen with a large snooze button and not have to worry about disabling the alarm. try alarm clock extreme. It's a paid app but it's a great alarm and the dev supports it as well. Ditch the phones alarm!

i dont have the JB update but the voice activation for the alarm doesnt work the way it should.

if i set a one time alarm it works fine but for the ones i have set for the wee it wont work. rather odd.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you all.

I'm not sure what the problem was but since the new update I got at the start of the month the problem has since resolved. I may indeed try the App mentioned earlier in the thread.

i was able to fix this issue by clearing the cache for this app and deleting and reentering the alarms.
