Alarm Clock

I just bought my phone two days ago and this morning the alarm clock didnt ring. I set up everything right and it showed me the night before - 8h left. But it didnt ring. Is there a known problem with that issue?

Of course, I shut my phone off before going to sleep.

I think the phone has to be on for the alarm to work.

Correct. Oh and get alarm klock its better.

Also if you put the phone with the screen facing down, the alarm clock will not activate.
