Can anyone please tell me about the battery backup of the mobile: Alcatel OT-990? Please let me know what is the talk time(3G) battery backup?

Not sure what you can expect though as what manufacturers report is often wildly different to what you actually get.

Tested on Clock Work Mod Recovery
First hold volume Up key(volume +key) + press Search soft touch key(Not Home button) and then turn on ur phone.
Keep holding these three buttons.
It will show Android logo and then it will goes black screen for a while when it will show the second logo or picture again releas and press power button quickly(2 times, some time 3 times).
This will take you to CWM Recovery.
1ST Note: Some time when u not press these buttons correctly phone restores factory settings with (volume up + power button).
This will erase all ur custom data on phone so be aware.
2nd Note: I m not responsible for any loss, forgetting to install cwm recovery on stock roms(if flash), Usama Bin Ladans reborn, shortage of water, smell coming from ur mouth, under arms & socks.
