Hey, got my g1 a month ago and been looking on these forums since i got it, just decided to register after giving rooting a go and found the advice on these forums great. now running my UK G1 on US firmware, multitouch and voice enabled

Welcome to the wonderful world of the droid, and of course to the forums. How are you finding the voice enabled part of the device? I was a bit annoyed that we didn't get it as default, as we don't speak "proper American", our puny little Brit accents aren't fully compatible with the voice recognition engine.

Not just a machine problem .... sometimes we humans have problems making out accents not native to our ears ...
