sounds like a faulty phone if you ask me =/ if it doesn't work than its a problem with the phone because there's not many options for physical keyboard in android

I know when I installed V9 I was having a lot of weird problem where when i would type certain letters on the physical keyboard, it would cause a shortcut WITHOUT hitting alt. I also had the strange draft issue. So i would have to reboot the phone, and then it would work fine. I have not had the problem since i went back to v6 and ota'ed to 8. Maybe this will help. Which firmware do you have?

In some cases, hitting the 'enter' key just puts a page break instead of executing the command. So if you write a text and hit enter on the keyboard, it will just bump you down to the next line. You have to touch send on the screen to actually send it. So check to see if that is actually your issue first.
