I am thinking about using Chomp, but when I checked out their site, they talk about charges for TMs. If I use Chomp will I incur extra changes beyond my unlimited TMing with Verizon?

I think that is only if you opt to send messages via the chomp service instead of using Verizon's service. Just select which service you want to use in the chomp settings. ...And also turn off notifications in the stock messenger so you don't get double notices in the notification bar.


PS.....I tried chomp and ended up ultimately going with Handcent

I tried Handcent & Chomp and eventually went to just the SMS Popup. I just wanted a pop up notification. I actually like the layout of the stock text software.

Everyone has different preferences. Enjoy playing around with it!
