This could go in the Sprint Thread or the EVO thread. I put it here cuz there's more traffic here. So I went into a Sprint store today to have them run my credit to see if I would have to put down a deposit on my new EVO contract (since I don't have the best credit). So he runs it, and says I'm approved for 3 phones on my account with no deposit. I only need 1 phone, so, awesome. He then went into "sell" mode, saying he could get me to walk out with a new phone today. I told him it wasn't gonna happen. I have a phone prepaid on TMo til June, and will then pick up the EVO. Without divulging too many specific details in case Sprint ppl are watching, I signed a new 2 yr contract for a cheap flip phone just so he can get me on the Sprint books as a new customer, I had my activation fee waived, exchange/restocking fee waived (when I upgrade to the EVO), he's holding an EVO aside for me so I can pick it up that day (the night before it at all possible), and i'm getting a 27% discount every month that I may or may not truly deserve (that will in affect negate the extra $10/month EVO fee). That is going above and beyond for your customer. Can't wait til the 4th!
