Amazom App stopped taking Info to get on

My brother has a Samsung Galaxy 2 Phone with Android 2.3 on it and the Amazon Store app stopped taking his ID and Pass Word so he can not get in to the app Store.........Is it safe to reinstall the the App and not lose anything.........Thanks

The only thing he could possibly lose is the list of apps, in yjr Appstore app, that he's installed. The apps themselves won't be lost or changed in any way. (Have him clear the cache and data for Appstore before he uninstalls it.)

Hi and Welcome

The cache and data saved by the app is probably where the issue arises. If you don't clear them when you reinstall the app it will use the existing data/cache and the problem will probably remain. Clearing them gives the app a fresh start.
