I'm going to be switching out a couple of phones tomorrow. Both have some apps installed from the Amazon appstore.

Is there any place to see a list of the apps that were installed through Amazon so I knew what put on the new phone?

EDIT: I only want to see apps currently still on the phone.

I only see new, updated and all in the Amazon app.

Any ideas? I won't be rooting the new phones, so doing a titanium backup and restore isn't an option. The old phones are rooted though.

In the Appstore app on your phone, hit Menu, My Apps.

On the website, go to Your Account, Your Apps and Devices (sign in if necessary).

I think that will only tell me what I've downloaded/purchased. That doesn't tell me what's currently installed, right? I only want a list of what's currently on the phone.

I don't know if the Appstore would be able to have that kind of access to info on your phone to know what's on there.

Sorry I wasn't more help, but the question didn't specify "only currently installed", so far as I can tell.

Time to break out the old pen and paper and use the old noggin.

Always makes it easier to help if you know what specifically the questioner has in mind. ;)

I hope you find a better solution than pen and paper. :)

You can download AppDragon (free, I think) which will list every app installed on your phone, and then email the list to your computer and print it out.

    That's not a bad idea.

I figure the google apps will reinstall themselves and anything that's missing, the person using the phone will realize and I'll get that from Amazon. It's not that many used apps on the phone from Amazon, I don't think.

In the end, I didn't need this.

I had backed up my apps with MyBackup Pro. I wasn't sure how it did the restore without root.

Once I tried it, I see that it basically reinstalls all my apps as a sideload, so both google and amazon apps wound up getting restored.
