Anyone use this app? I fancy it but it gets appalling reviews on AppBrain

I use it and don't mind it. It's just a music store. Best part is that there aren't any copy protection rights with the mp3s.

I have no problems with it. Like nudave said, no copy protection. Just pay for an mp3 and use it however you want.

I use it on my PC.

I have never opened it up/run it on my EVO.

So why does it use CPU time?

Besides being a download facility it must be spyware.

I use it with no problems.. a lot of times they have deals on cheaper songs than, say, itunes... don't know why it gets burned all of the time.

i hate the fact that it stays on in the background and i have to force stop it. Also hate the fact its obligated to be there and you cant uninstall it

I use it and like it. I use on both my phone and computer. I have it set up not to automatically start incomplete downloads, which helps.

A lot of comments on the marketplace are saying this app can't be removed once it's installed - that doesn't sound likely to me, has anyone had this problem?

What do you mean by it stays on in the background? I was playing with it earlier and bought and album and downloaded it. It's cached in the background now, but isn't running at all.

They're probably referring to the way it's installed with VZW stuff on 2.2. It's installed as a system app and you can't get rid of it. If you download it from the market and install it, you can get rid of it the same way you can get rid of any app.
